This style of nose pad is useful on several different older frames, including AO, Continental, Martin Copeland and even Algha.  They are often called split pads and they work like a cotter-pin by inserting the fitting through the hole in the end of your nose pad arm and then spreading the two tabs apart to keep the pads in place. They are a firm acetate, the same material used to make most plastic eyeglass frames and most all of the clear nose pads back in the old days. Nose pads size is measured the long way and these are 15 mm (9/16 inches) long.
